Kincardine Castle is a grand Scottish country house that feels like home. Our comfortable bedrooms are tastefully furnished with family antiques and are perfect for relaxation after a day enjoying the spectacular surroundings of Royal Deeside.
With 12 well-appointed bedrooms, Kincardine Castle sleeps up to 22 in ten double/twin bedrooms and two singles. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with the exception of one single room which has a private bathroom.
Please note there is a minimum 2 night stay and the castle is offered as whole rather than on a room by room basis.

This was where Mrs Pickering, who built Kincardine Castle,
had her private sitting room.

Maggie’s Room
Maggie grew up at Kincardine, and continues to use this room
when she visits now.

Wigglesworth
One of the two architects who designed Kincardine Castle. The bedhead, depicting two love birds, is the original overmantel from the Drawing Room fireplace, taken down in the 1930s.

Named after Pride & Prejudice author Jane Austen,

The Chinese Bed Room
Features an exquisite Chinese Day Bed dating from 1780 which takes centre place in this room.

Old King Cole
For 85 years this room was decorated in
Old King Cole wallpaper.

The Cook’s Room
A snug room where the all-important Cook slept
during the Castle’s Victorian heyday.

Nini’s Room
Jim Nielly, known as Nini by the young children in the house, used this room in the 1950s during his time as Brigadier Bradford’s soldier servant.
Single, private bath.
The Housekeeper’s Room
The sunlit south-facing bedroom overlooking the park, where the Housekeeper once slept.

The Butler’s Room
Another sun-lit south-facing bedroom overlooking the park, originally for the Butler.
